Gutter Inspection

What exactly does a gutter inspection entail?

We’re glad you asked! In short, we’ll be checking to make sure your gutters are collecting water and moving it away from your home the way they should be. Since a moderate to heavy rainstorm can produce several thousand gallons of water runoff, it’s important to know that your gutters are diverting that water at least four to six feet away from your home to prevent water damage. If you have landscaping, we’ll also check to see if water is pooling anywhere in your yard. When the ground is oversaturated, not only can it make your plants sick; it also increases the risk of downed trees and shrubs. Keeping your landscaping free of water damage stops your home from developing safety risks.

While we’re there, we’ll also make sure that your gutters are free of rust, cracks, and holes. Any deficiencies or flaws in your gutter system can lead to leaks, or worse, gutter failure. If necessary, we can help you make an informed decision on what additional gutter products your home may need. We’re proud to provide Austin homeowners with a full range of gutter improvement services, including Armour Guard gutter guards and brand new seamless gutters.
